– Summer is in full swing and you have the opportunity to determine where you’ve spent too much time in one area of life and need to give equal attention to the other areas that make living worthwhile. If you’ve been an overachiever, take time to relax and chill out. If you have been dragging your feet, now it’s time to get something done. The key is to find better ways of creating harmony in your life. When you feel tension, massage, music, and hydrotherapy are just the ticket this month. If you find yourself stressed, take a deep breath, pretend you are a musical orchestra conductor, and bring all the instruments into harmony, aka your life!
– What is complete in your life this month? You may have completed a major task, graduated, or released something no longer moving in the same direction as you are. Anything that goes out of your life this month has completed its function, and the key is to realize where you may have been holding on to a limitation because it was familiar and seemingly safe. Now, life will assist you in letting go of all that is inhibiting your movement forward, and the key to the month is to consistently see the bigger picture rather than getting trapped in the moment. There are many dynamic and dramatic possibilities, so trust in a higher power and allow yourself to be lifted to new heights!
– It’s a wonderful month for starting new projects or a new adventure. Your sense of self and individual needs are right up front and during this time you can lead the way, even if nobody else wants to follow. Your individuality, strength of character, and courage are called upon, as well as the ability to make decisions. The only caution is that rather than being impulsive, make sure you are using reasoned self-discipline and looking beyond a momentary whim so that what you decide is actually all to the good, and not something that you will later regret because it was a momentary want. Other than that, pick up your paper hat and sword and charge ahead!
– In this practical year, July offers a few fireworks or something that shakes up the status quo. The opportunity now is to be open to insights and opportunities that you hadn’t planned. You can have a sudden brilliant idea that needs to be translated into something understandable, or there can be a sudden connection or break in relationship that brings about change to your status quo. The key to this month is to pay attention to inner guidance, choose healthy thoughts and food, and encourage relationships that are mutually supportive and beneficial.
– It’s summer. Let’s Party! Now is the time to be the social maven, the star of the show, and to find the merry band of friends with whom you can enjoy yourself and express fully. Avoid those who are manipulative or downers. You can deal with them later in the year. This is your time to shine and to find the avenues for outlets to your creative abilities and talents. Don’t stuff your feelings or hold back enthusiasm. Find things you love to do and engage others in your plans and ideas. It I a month of birthing something lovely. You can do it!
– In a year of responsibilities and care for your own health or the care of others, this month is an opportunity for redefining what you see as your role. Where is the structure of your life too small, and where do you need to be willing to let go of control a little more so that you can expand who you are in a larger context? There may be offers that you aren’t sure you can handle. There can be life altering events like birth, death, marriage or divorce, but the main thing is that you are asked to assess where you are pleased with the foundations you have built within your life and where you believe there is need to grow further. As you do, you can make good headway in implementing steps for greater progress and success. It’s up to you to engage life as your partner, and when you do, fulfilling results show up!
– Although this year is one in which you might want to take a sabbatical or spend more time thinking about things or having time to yourself, July is a month of expanding horizons and being involved with travel, people, or major ideas that pique your curiosity. When you direct your attention to a project that engages your interest, you can accomplish a great deal. If you are bored by work, then it’s a great time for physical activity. During this month, a lot can be accomplished, or you can just enjoy the summer and explore what’s in front of you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained…but in this month it may not matter.
– July focuses on family and health. You have the opportunity to engage in meaningful relationships and provide the help and comfort of Mother Earth to others (regardless of your gender). It’s time to focus on what your role is in the world and how you are participating in the plan life has in front of you. When you are rigidly attached to your preconceived idea of how it “should” be, you can miss opportunities and feel as though others are not respecting your position. But when you allow for your own opinions AND those of others, you can compromise and see that life is indeed a moveable feast, and everyone may have a different path to take, including you…and it’s perfectly fine! Give yourself the love you need and extend it to everyone else. You’ll be glad you did!
– July offers opportunities to dig a little deeper to find the gem inside yourself. Questions for the month are “Who am I?”, “What’s the purpose of my life?” As you ponder these, you may find that there is more to you than you thought and that there is a special area of interest or ability that is calling for more attention. Research, retreats, meaningful interactions…these are elements that express the best use of July in your life at this time. Remember that throughout this year you are looking at all areas to see what’s important to take with you, and what’s no longer meaningful in your life. A cycle of life is ending, and this month helps to make those things clearer, so embrace the opportunity to know yourself better and learn what really makes you feel fulfilled and how best to release the best of who you are!
