– Re-evaluate and determine where your dreams are too limiting, and where you need to open yourself to receiving and achieving more. You have the capacity of making large or small breakthroughs in an area of life that has been “stuck”, and can build or re-build for a much better future. The key is willingness to risk to the unknown – to die to the old and be reborn again, just as the caterpillar metamorphoses to become the butterfly.
– After delays or frustration, change is in the air. New information and opportunities signal movement, and you may feel impulsive, having a tendency to jump into things without thinking them through. Pay attention to details, especially when signing contracts. Travel or unexpected shifts in plans may be part of the equation, and there can be an over abundance of stimulus that requires sorting. All that said, it’s a great time for adventure and more freedom. Enjoy!
– The focus is on family, health, and service. Warm feelings and desire to be connected helps you extend loving support to those in need and to feel the joy of intimate relationships. If you are overloaded by expectations of others, set realistic boundaries. Your criteria for all you do needs to be how much of you is able to give with a loving heart. If you feel resentment and the burden of obligations, your attitude will be mirrored back to you as others sense your annoyance. Compassion and caring attract appreciation, so how you are perceived is up to you.
– In this beginning of winter, it’s important to pause and take stock of your life. Who are you, and why are you here? Reflect on where you’ve been and where you want to go, and make time for rest and relaxation. You may need a sabbatical, or to let those you know that need for time alone is not rejection, it is an act of self-preservation. Nature is healing and restorative – so spend quality time in an environment that connects you to earth and soul. Look for the hidden meaning behind appearances, and resolve relationships that may reappear from the past. Most of all, find reunion with yourself!
– Positive reinforcement for your efforts may be part of this month’s plan. Take stock of how well organized you are and how you direct your energy and focus. Where is there need for more harmony? Where are you too goal directed at the expense of well-being? On the other hand, where have you avoided taking care of issues and now need to face them? This month asks you to deal with what needs attention to the best of your ability. Rewards come for past effort, and bills appear because of past excess. Again…the function of this month is to bring about BALANCE!
– December is a month of completion. There are endings to old stories, release of burdens – or recognition that attachment to certain people or attitudes no longer serve you. Clearing out clutter or closets helps to remove non-essentials and make room for new opportunities, clothes, relationships, ideas. In other words, it’s time to get rid of what doesn’t work anymore. In all that you seek, practice gratitude and appreciation. As you consistently look at the bigger picture and avoid pettiness, you are lifted up and become one to whom others look for inspiration.
– Focus on planting seeds for the future. Make new connections, take on leadership roles, and bring your voice forward. It’s time to take a stand on some issue that has meaning to you. Your identity and wants are foremost at this moment, and as you move forward remember to be kind to others, even if you may be leaving them behind. Strength of character and courage are called for – but your whole year has been one in which you have had opportunities to redefine who you are and why you are here. Now you are called upon to share that with others.
– The focus is on quality of partnerships this month. What are the choices you make in your thinking, eating, and who you spend time with? Do you attract things that nourish and uplift, or spend time with what undoes you? This can be a time of brilliance, where you are called upon to translate ideas into something understandable for others. On the other hand, you can feel flighty if the energy isn’t grounded. Define boundaries so that you are not overwhelmed by others, and solidify your alliance with the Divine Spirit so that you have counsel you can truly count on.
– Use this month to be more playful, childlike, and enjoy opportunities that allow your creativity, self-expression, and love of beauty to emerge. It’s time to be silly and have fun. Engage in laughter and choose merry groups of friends to be with. Leave emotionally draining people out of the equation this month. You can always catch up with them later. It’s important to notice the stage that is waiting for you, and take the opportunity to stand in the limelight. You have so much to offer, and December seeks to give you the chance – but you have to be willing to let go of drama and let the light shine to and from you now!
